Are you
tired
of having your Preschool Ministry looked at as nothing more than a
glorified baby-sitting service? ·
Have you asked
yourself the question – “What do I do with
the kids that are too old for the nursery but too young to sit through a
full fledged children’s church service with the big
kids?” ·
Are you ready to break
out
of the mundane "baby-sitting" approach to preschool ministry that
has been used for decades and turn loose your God-given creativity
while leading and teaching others to do the same? ·
Are you
ready
to think "outside the box" and let the Lord lead you in developing
a custom approach to early childhood ministry in your church? One that fits the needs of your kids
AND your volunteers? ·
Are you
looking for ways to
prevent "worker burn-out" in your Early Childhood Ministry
area? ·
Do you
want
to make sure that every child has multiple opportunities during
every service to hear, understand, and demonstrate THE BIBLICAL
TRUTH you are trying to get across that day? Dear Fellow
Children’s Minister, Now that I have your attention, I want to ask you, How much is the eternal soul of a young child worth? Suppose you could sit down, lay out a simple outline for your children’s service, follow it and change eternity for one child? Imagine, one simple, focused service could change eternity for
thousands because you might just have the next D.L. Moody or Billy Graham
sitting in your Preschool Ministry right now! Now imagine that you were able to do the same thing each and every week. I’ll be honest, none of us know what God has in store for those He places in our ministry. With that in mind, I ask you, “With all that is at stake, how can you do anything less than the very best for His kids?” The answer: You can’t! And that’s why I believe God has led me to share with you the tools and techniques I use in my own ministry each and every Sunday with dynamic results and responses from kids, parents, and volunteers. My 4
year old has received many teachings with this method. He came home excited after church
asking me, “How can I stand up for Jesus?” This was
the weekly lesson and he was able to receive, understand, and desire to
put into practice. I am
thankful for a program that helps fuel and support my child’s spiritual
growth. Sincerely, A
Thankful Mother It all started in November of 2003 when I was asked to coordinate the training of twenty-one volunteers for a major two week evangelistic outreach our church was doing. As the event drew closer, my wife and I were asked if we would provide ministry for the preschoolers during the evening services. We accepted and entered the world of Preschool Ministry. By the end of the two weeks, we had completed fourteen services and had learned a lot. As a result of those two weeks, my approach and philosophy of Preschool Ministry has forever changed. Those two weeks opened the door to becoming Preschool Pastor at Sachse Assembly of God. Now, I want to give you the benefit of all that I have
learned and help you create your own highly effective Preschool Ministry
starting today! As an intelligent individual, you realize the value of learning from other people’s experiences, both positive and negative. You know the importance of being able to take a concept and personalize it so that it works for you. You believe it is better to work smarter than harder and you have no desire to totally reinvent the wheel. As you get and then study every word of this book, you will become convinced of three things: · God cares for Preschool Kids and wants you to minister to them · Organization and Creativity are vital to Effective Preschool Ministry · You CAN minister effectively to Preschool Children Almost
anyone could use your ideas regardless of their experience level in the
ministry. Marlena

ü Low or No Cost Ways to Improve Your Children’s Ministry ü A Formula For Continued Effectiveness – not just a one time shot of curriculum ü A Clear Simple Program that is ready to use ü Practical ministry methods you can use (I do), not just a bunch of theory ü How to move past the baby-sitting mentality of Preschool Ministry ü Secrets to recruiting, training, and appreciating ministry volunteers Before I go any further, I would like to give you an opportunity to understand my philosophy of Preschool Ministry. As a
Preschool Minister, we get to till the ground and plant the seeds. There are even times when we get
to water what was planted. As
we are faithful to do what God has called us to do, there are also times
He blesses us with seeing a plant begin to sprout. Then, on a very rare occasion, we
actually get to reap the harvest of a precious young soul that still has
years they can give to Christ. This philosophy and heartfelt belief has inspired me to write this book. I realize I can only minister to a few and I know that the Lord has definitely blessed my ministry. Please allow me to share some of what I have learned with you. Here are
